Abstract.  Standard laptop computer to screen projection (LCD) equipment will be provided for presentations at the meeting; thus authors will need to indicate at the time of abstract submission whether they need additional or special audiovisual equipment for their presentation.  Accepted abstracts will be published in the Intermountain Journal of Sciences by year end.  The abstract needs to clearly indicate whether it should be considered for oral or poster presentation.  Thus, submitted abstracts should contain the following components: Title, Author, Co-Authors (if any), brief Project Description; Need for Additional AV Equipment (Y or N) and Presentation Type (Poster or Oral).  All submissions are welcome; however we reserve the right to limit the number and types of papers accepted if meeting constraints require.  We strongly encourage those with management, research, or policy information related to the meeting topic of climate change and its impact on aquatic resources to consider presenting a paper.  Abstracts should be submitted electronically to carter.kruse@retranches.com no later than January 1, 2008.  Please include the phrase “Montana AFS 2008 paper abstract” OR “Montana AFS 2008 poster abstract” in the subject line.  Contact Carter Kruse, Program Chair, with any additional questions regarding submitting an abstract for the 2008 meeting.

Additional AV Equipment: None
Presentation Type: Oral (or Poster)

Accepted presentations will be scheduled in 20-minute blocks and presenters should tailor their talk to both allow for a brief speaker introduction and audience questions within that time frame.  All presentations should be in MS PowerPoint format, unless special considerations are requested at time of submission.

Accepted poster presentations should be prepared on a display board no larger than 4 ft. high by 4 ft wide suitable for mounting to a wall or similar support with pins or Velcro type fasteners.  Posters should be visually captivating and readable from a distance of 6 feet.
