2008 Annual Alaska Chapter AFS Conference
Expanding Perspectives of Fisheries

Anchorage Hilton Hotel - October 26-30, 2008

 CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES

Register for courses will be via the Pre-Registration Form. (Pre-registration deadline is October 17, afterwards register on-site, first-come first served)

Please note:

The Scientific Presentation and Speaking Skills classes still have plenty of slots available and were brought back and expanded this year into an introductory and intermediate two-day class option because of the rave reviews from participants last year.  People who took the class last year can sign up for the second day session to improve on and expand their skills with material not offered last year in the one-day class.  Don't miss this great opportunity to improve your presentation skills and to get more comfortable speaking in front of groups.  In order to ensure these two classes are well attended, the organizing committee has opted to offer this class to both members and non-members at the early registration rate of $250/day. So, even though the early registration has passed, you can still get into one or both of these classes at the pre-registration rate!

For those of you who pre-registered last week and paid, you should have received an automated statement via e-mail from the Alaska Chapter with your statement attached.  If you have not yet received such a statement, please send an e-mail to our Treasurer, Lee Ann Gardner, at rwjconsulting@ak.net so she can get your early registration statement to you.
