2009 Midcontinent Warm Water Fish Culture Workshop

This is the first announcement for the 2009 Midcontinent Warm Water Fish Culture Workshop to be held in Council Bluffs, Iowa from February 2-4.  For over 30 years, this workshop has been providing practicing fish culturists, researchers and vendors an opportunity to network and discuss current trends in aquaculture.  This annual meeting rotates between the states of Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas and Arkansas. The 2008 Workshop was held in Arkansas and attracted some 124 participants.  Generally, we expect 100 people to attend the meeting each year.   The majority of participants work in federal, state and higher education fish culture and research related facilities.  Please read the attachments for more information on the workshop, paper submission and preregistration.
