The Northeast Fish and Wildlife Conference
The Northeast Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies will hold it's 64th Annual Conference April 27-30, 2008 in Galloway, New Jersey. Sessions will be scheduled for Conservation Law Enforcement, Inland Fisheries (including Freshwater, Diadromous, Fish Culture Health), Marine Fisheries, Wildlife, and Outreach. The American Fisheries Society 2008 Meeting
The American Fisheries Society will hold its 138th meeting August 17-21, 2008 in Ottawa Canada. The meeting will be held at the Ottawa Congress Centre and Westin Hotel. You are invited to submit abstracts for review and inclusion in the meeting program. Abstracts for contributed papers must be received by February 8, 2008. The 2010 American Fisheries Society Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA
(Note from our president, Jason Detar). The national AFS annual meeting will be held in Pittsburgh in September 2010. The host state AFS Chapter plays an active role in providing assistance with planning and coordinating the national meeting, so it is critical that PA AFS Chapter members get involved. This is a great opportunity to help out and have fun. Please let me know if you are interested in assisting. I will provide a meeting summary and details regarding future meetings. Even if you can provide assistance on a limited basis it will be much appreciated.
