Venue Location and Other Useful Information

Venue Location:

The symposium is being held at the Auckland University campus in the new Business School building (12 Grafton Road). Map 1 shows downtown Auckland and the location of the University. Map2 shows the Business School on-campus location (Owen Glen Building). Once through the main building entrance, banners will direct you where to go. Please note: the Sunday (24th) "Meet and greet" will be held at the main venue.

Registration:

The registration desk will open at 5 pm on Sunday 24th and remain open during the "meet and greet" session. The registration desk will open at 7:30 am on Monday 25th and at 8:00 am on the remaining days.

Where to get lunch:

Morning and afternoon teas are provided as part of your registration; for lunch the most convenient eating facilities are the University cafeterias. The closest vender is located in floor above the Symposium venue. The vender has been forewarned, and, in anticipation of a large ravenous horde, has agreed to serve Symposium delegates exclusively. The main University café area is located in the Quadrangle (denoted by the number “300” on Map 2{link} ). Symposium delegates won’t have exclusivity at the Quadrangle cafes so you will be competing with the students attending orientation seminars.

Internet access:

A number of internet terminals and ethernet ports will be available for the exclusive use of delegates at no charge; login details will be provided at registration. Please note: although there is WiFi within the building you won’t be able to access the web this way; those wanting to plug a laptop into the available ethernet jacks will need to furnish their own cable.
