Notes for Presenters
Poster and oral presenters are both entitled to submit their work in paper format for subsequent publication in the Symposium proceedings. Instructions for this will be up on the web shortly.
Please remember that you are required to register for the Symposium to be eligible to present your poster or oral talk.
Please continue to visit the Conference website to view the current programme for the time and date of your poster presentation.
Oral Presentations:
Each presenter is allocated 20 minutes which includes question time. Time intervals will be strictly enforced, so please pitch your talks at between 15 - 17 minutes to allow for questions.
The data projection systems will all be using the latest version of Microsoft PowerPoint. Presentations prepared with older PowerPoint versions should work, but if you are unsure prepare your talk with the latest software. All presenters should provide a PowerPoint of their talk to AV technicians well before they are due to present; instructions for doing this will be in the Symposium conference pack. If you have additional AV requirements please email the conference organiser <tag2008@newyork.com> well before the Symposium commences.
Poster Presentations:
Posters are currently scheduled to be presented during the Poster Sessions on Monday 25th, Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th at 5.30pm. We ask that you erect your poster at the beginning of your presentation day (by 8.30am) or during the tea or lunch breaks.
Each poster is to be a maximum 1m wide x 1.4m long in size.
Please remember to take down your poster at the end of your presentation. Any posters left behind may become misplaced.
We encourage all poster presenters to please remember to bring along Velcro dots, pins, tape and any stationary necessary to help with erecting their poster. The Symposium organisers have a limited supply of mounting materials.
