Payment Terms and Conditions

Payment and acknowledgement
Payment of registration fees and of other optional activities must be made by cheque or bank draft in New Zealand dollars and made payable to CCE, The University of Auckland. Personal cheques drawn on banks outside New Zealand cannot be accepted. MasterCard and VISA credit cards will be accepted. On receipt of your registration and fees, a confirmation letter detailing all items reserved and payment made will be forwarded. No person will be confirmed without payment of necessary fees.

Alterations
Alterations to your registration will not be accepted over the telephone. Alterations must be in writing via Post:

Cancellations and refunds
Any amendments and/or refunds must be notified in writing to the Conference Secretariat. Cancellations received in writing up to 1st
January 2008 will receive a refund, less an administration fee of NZ$75.00. Cancellations received after 1st January 2008 will not receivea refund, but a substitute delegate is welcome without penalty.

DISCLAIMER
Neither the Organising Committee (all members collectively know as 'the organisers') of Mark & Tag Symposium Committee or The University of Auckland (UoA), can accept any liability for death, injury, any loss, cost or expense suffered by any person (including accompanying persons, partner, or attendant caregivers), if such a loss is caused or results from the act, default or omission of any person other than an employee or agent of the organisers or UoA. In particular, neither the organisers nor UoA can accept liability for losses arising from the provision or non-provision of services provided by hotel companies or transport operators. Nor can the organiser or UoA accept liability for losses suffered by reason of war including threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activities, natural disasters, weather, fire, flood, drought, technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within any premises visited by delegates and/or partners in connection with the conference. Neither the organisers nor UoA is able to guarantee that any particular person will appear as a speaker or panellist.
